We arrived sixth and seventh, made two passes through the line, and left with four bottles while plenty of choices remained.** Utah’s monthly list tells you what is scheduled for release. It does not tell you what the morning will feel like: how early people arrive, which bottle creates the first scramble, whether a later arrival still has a chance, or what is left after the opening rush. So we went to the **September 19, 2026 Utah allocation release** to see it firsthand. > **The quick take:** We were numbers six and seven at about 10:00 a.m. Bomberger’s was gone within the first four customers, but the line reached only about 15 people by 11:00\. By **11:00 a.m., only about 15 people had arrived**. That was the first surprise. We were close enough to have a real shot at several desirable bottles, but the morning never felt like an all-or-nothing sprint where anyone outside the first few spots would leave empty-handed. One bottle was the exception. ## Bomberger’s was the first scramble **Bomberger’s was gone within the first four customers.** The first person in line chose Bomberger’s on the opening pass, then picked up **Tears of Llorona** on a later trip through. I believe they got in line at 8:30 but cannot verify for sure. If Bomberger’s was your must-have, line position mattered. If you arrived with a few good options in mind, the morning was much more forgiving. We did not stop to count every bottle, so this is not a final inventory report. The practical takeaway is simpler: **you did not need one of the first four spots to find something worth bringing home.** You did need one of those spots for the morning’s fastest-moving bottle. ## What we would bring next time The bottle list was not the only thing worth planning around. It was roughly **80°F**, and our part of the line sat in direct sunlight. The line can wrap around the building into shade, but where you land depends on the crowd and your place in line. Next time, we would bring: - A folding chair - Water - Sunscreen or a hat - Our own shade - A ranked bottle list with a first choice and at least one backup That last item matters. The line moves more smoothly when you already know what you want—and a good backup keeps one quick sellout from ruining the morning. ## Was allocation day worth it? At this location, yes. The line was manageable, repeat trips were possible, and there were still worthwhile bottles available after the initial rush. The people chasing one specific bottle needed to arrive early; everyone else had room to explore the table and make a thoughtful choice. For anyone who has watched Utah’s allocation releases from a distance because the process seemed intimidating, this morning was encouraging. You may miss the hottest bottle if you arrive later, but that does not mean the whole event is over. The official list tells us **what Utah received**. Showing up tells us **what enthusiasts actually reached for**.
